Longform
Review
Longform started publishing “long-form” nonfiction in 2010, meaning any work over 2,000 words. In December of 2012, they added Longform Fiction to share some of the best fiction work published openly on the internet. The platform grew steadily in popularity and added a podcast and an app to offer their readership more. While the app had to be let go after Apple made a number of changes to their app requirements that Longform couldn’t meet, the podcast is still going strong today, sharing conversations with nonfiction writers weekly.
