1. Select the Element of Your Choice

Canva offers a wide range of free elements. Search lines and shapes in elements tab and choose the element of your choice on which you would prefer to write the text like your username, link or any other text.

2. Select The Circle Element

Next, search lines and shapes in elements tab again and choose the circle element. Place the circle element properly with your other element which you choose in previous step.

3. Choose the Circle Frame

Next, open your elements tab again and search for frames. Select the circle frame and place it over the circle element which you choose in the second step. Make sure to resize the circle frame properly over the circle element.

4. Change the Color of all the Elements

Next, select the element and choose the color of the element according to your choice.

5. Select the Image of Your Choice

Next, select any image from Canva stock library by selecting “photos” tab then choose the image you want to use for your circle frame. Place and adjust the selected image inside the circle frame.

You can also choose your image by uploading it in Canva and then selecting it from “uploads” tab.

6. Write and Edit Text

Next, choose the font of your choice from text tab. Write the text you want to add in your lower third and now you can edit the font style, size, color of your choice by selecting the text.

For writing the text you can press “T” alphabet on your keyboard and it will bring up the editable text.

7. Add Animation Effect of your Choice

Next, select the page then choose animate option from the top bar menu and now you can see many page animation effect. Select any of the page animation effect of your choice and apply that to your page.

8. Change the Background Color of Your Page

Next, select the page again and choose the background color of your page to green because the green background color will work as a green screen and you can easily use, place your lower thirds in your videos.

You can also edit the timing of the animation effect by selecting the clock icon from the top.
