How to Add a Text Box in Canva
1. Click on the “Text” Tab
Click on the Text option from the left panel.
2. Choose Type of Plain Text
For plain text, you can add any of the text options placed in the above section. There are three main types of plain text to choose from. (1) Heading text (“add a heading”) (2) Subheading (“Add a subheading”) (3) Body or Paragraph Text (“Add a little bit of body text”).
3. Choose Style of Custom Text
For pre-edited and decorated text boxes, you can scroll down and select any of the options available under the text option. You can edit them as well.
