Luckily, Canva has made creating your own custom designs much easier. In this tutorial, our team of design experts will cover how to create a dual color lighting effect in Canva.
1. Add a Photo to Your Canva Design
Get a picture from Photos.
2. Duplicate Page
Duplicate the page. Don’t try to change the position of the image.
3. Remove the Backgorund
Now remove the background from the second image. If you are not a pro user, you can use Remove.bg for removing the background (or try Canva Pro for free for 30 days!):
4. Stretch Image & Add Gradient Highlights
Now stretch the picture and fit it in the background. Search for the ‘Gradient Highlights’ in the ‘Elements’ section.
5. Adjust Gradient Transparency
Put the highlight over the picture and set the transparency to 45.
6. Edit Image Settings
Repeat the same with the other color gradient. And put these settings in the edit image option.
Brightness: 5
Contrast: 5
Saturation: 25
Blur: -2
Warmth: 15
Highlights: -50
Use the setting code for getting the custom edit formula for the second one.
7. Download Image as PNG, Re-Upload it to Canva, Remove Background
Now download the image in the PNG format. Remove image background and upload it to the Canva again.
8. Apply Photogenic Filter
Now go to the edit image option again and go with the Photogenic mode and select – Fresco!
