Great graphic design is the secret super power behind many content creators. However, for many content creators, graphic design is either too time consuming to tackle or too expensive when outsourced to professional designers. Luckily, Canva has made creating your own custom designs much easier, especially for social media graphics to use on platforms like Instagram. In this tutorial, our team of design experts will cover how to edit video in Canva.
How to Edit Video in Canva
1. Open a Video Canva Template
Choose the size from the home page search bar.
2. Add Video File to Canva Design
Add videos from the available clips in Canva or you can upload your own video using the Upload button.
3. Adjust Video Length (Trim)
To trim your Canva video, you can drag the bottom panel for a particular part of the video.
To cut and merge multiple clips of the video, all you need to do is duplicate videos using the three dots. After duplicating the video, you need to trim it for the first half and the second video with the second half and put different texts in them.
7. Add Music or Audio to Video
To add the music to Canva video, you can go to the audio tab on the left panel or upload your own music from the upload button. You can also trim the audio.
